With only 38 days left in their deployment the ESO (explosive ordnance disposal) team gets a new squad leader, James. The other members of the team, Sanborn and Eldridge, just want to do their job and get home safely but they soon discover that James is an adrenaline junkie who lives to disarm bombs. The job is intense and he makes it harder on his subordinates by taking chances that put all their lives at risk. This is an intense look at one of the hardest and most dangerous jobs in the military. No matter what your politics you will find yourself involved with the members of the ESO squad and their mission. And after the first few minutes you will stay on the edge of your seat knowing that, unlike most movies, not even the stars are guaranteed to be there at the end of the film. Look for the film and Jeremy Renner, who plays James, to get a lot of talk at awards time.
